DESCRIPTION:The c. 1829 Caleb Nickerson Homestead is open for a guided tour with a docent every Wednesday. The full Cape was lovingly restored on the grounds of the William and Anne Nickerson Historic Homestead site in 2004. Walk through our beautiful Colonial gardens and small orchard\, visit our Nickerson Genealogy Center and see the site of the 2018/2019 archaeological excavation of William and Anne's c. 1664 homestead. Also on display is the inaugural exhibit of artifacts from the dig. During the summer of 2024 progress will continue on restoring the historic barn recently moved from North Chatham.
