Byrne with the original music by J Hagenbuckle. Call the Box Office for details. Cape Rep Indoor Theater. North Side Route 6A E. Brewster. 508.896.1888 or www.caperep.org.\n\n\n\nAudition Dates:\n\nSaturday\, July 25\, 2 pm - 5 pm\, at the Cape Rep Barn. \n\n\n\nRehearsals begin on or about August 31\, 2026\n\nProduction dates are currently scheduled for September 30 - October25\, 2026 at Cape Rep Indoor Theater\, 3299 Rt. 6A\, Brewster\, MA 02631.\n\n\n\nPlease prepare a short one to two minute monologue from something with heightened text. All roles are available. You may be asked to read from the script. Auditions are by appointment but walk-ins will be seen on a first come\, first served basis in between scheduled appointments. Please email a request for an appointment along with a headshot and resume to auditions@caperep.org.\n\n\n\nThe Fall of the House of Usher by Gip Hoppe\n\nDirected by James P. Byrne\n\nOriginal Music by J Hagenbuckle\n\n\n\nSummary:\n\nOver the top drama\, exaggerated emotions\, high stakes\, sensational situations Gip's wildly popular adaptation of the Edgar Allan Poe short story was a huge hit in 1990. Gip passed away recently and his creative influence extended to many\, many artists in Lower Cape theater.  We have chosen to mount this production to honor Gip's early work\, and incredibly fertile creative energy.\n\n\n\nCape Rep Theatre is an equal opportunity employer\, committed to creating a diverse and inclusive creative home for both artists and audiences.
