Special Documentary Showing: The Librarians @ The Chatham Orpheum Theater
We've partnered with The Chatham Orpheum for a special showing of the documentary, THE LIBRARIANS (directed by Kim Snyder) on October 06 at 7pm.
Featuring local, well-known author Bernard Cornwell, and former Eldredge Public Library librarian Tami DePasquale, to speak at the event.
Please join us for a great fundraising event (benefiting the SCPL).
Synopsis: Librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and our First Amendment Rights. As they well know, controlling the flow of ideas means control over communities.
