Tuesday Talks: The Camps of Chatham
Once scattered along the shores of North and South Beaches, these humble fishing and hunting shacks were an iconic part of Chatham’s coastal landscape, reflecting the town’s deep-rooted connections to the sea, the land, and its maritime traditions.
Discover the stories behind these distinctive structures, the people who built and used them, and the role they played in Chatham’s history. Set in the historic Mural Barn, this talk offers a unique opportunity to look back at a fascinating chapter of local history and the enduring legacy of life along Chatham’s shores.
