Cape Cod 5 Employees Help Direct $60,000 in Grants to Local Nonprofits
Hyannis, MA – Cape Cod 5 employees have selected six local nonprofit organizations to receive a total of $60,000 in charitable funding through the Bank’s employee-voted grant program, supporting organizations making a meaningful difference in communities across the region.
This year’s employee-selected grant recipients are: Island Housing Trust, Latham Centers, NAMI Cape Cod, Nantucket Island Safe Harbor for Animals (NiSHA), Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless and Sharing Kindness.
Employees recently joined representatives from each organization to celebrate the grants and recognize the important work these nonprofits are doing to address needs and strengthen communities throughout the region.
“Our employees live, work and volunteer throughout the communities we serve, giving them a firsthand understanding of the organizations making a meaningful difference for our neighbors,” said Bert Talerman, President of Cape Cod 5. “Through our employee-voted grant program, our colleagues have a direct voice in our community giving, and we’re proud to provide $60,000 in support to these six organizations and the important work they do each day.”
