ART IN THE PARK 
June 16 to August 14, ?WHALES? and ?SHARKS? painted by local artists will be displayed on the front lawn of Kate Gould Park, downtown Chatham. Browse the magnificent display of whales and sharks created by local artists and presented by the Chamber of Commerce & Merchants Association. Enter the auction for an opportunity to take home your favorite piece and learn some fun oceanic trivia presented by our education partners, Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and the Center for Coastal Studies.


 

OARS IN THE STORES SCAVENGER HUNT

May 22 through Labor Day, SCAVENGER HUNT for summer visitors and residents to find in participating shops. You can obtain scavenger hunt booklets at OARS IN THE STORES Headquarters at the downtown Information Booth, at Kate Gould Park, and at the Visitor Center in South Chatham. Each person who returns a completed booklet will be given a small prize. At the end of September, the Chatham Chamber of Commerce & Merchants Association will draw a prize winner out of all completed scavenger hunt booklets turned in at either the OARS IN THE STORES Headquarters (downtown Info Booth at 533 Main Street) or at the Chamber?s black mailbox (South Chatham Bassett House Info Center at 2377 Main St.)
