Please join the Chatham Garden Club as Dr. Alyssa Novak, research faculty at Boston University and leader in recent analysis, shares her findings on the plight of dwindling eelgrass. With a focus on ecology and conservation, she knows the crucial role of eelgrass and also the conditions that threaten this marine plant. Working with Cape Cod National Seashore, Dr. Novak’s summer field study focuses on climate-adapted restoration efforts of eelgrass located at Pleasant Bay. She will explain the
project, the goal of her study, and the outcomes.
