Halloween Spooky Centerpiece Workshop

Create a spooky fall arrangement for Halloween with floral designer Sonny Gada on Sat., Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.

The hands-on workshop will be held in the c. 1829 Caleb Nickerson Homestead at 1107 Orleans Road, North Chatham. Each participant will bring home a completed arrangement. Sonny will provide vases and flowers. If you wish to create your arrangement in a sugar pumpkin, or have specific floral preferences such as roses or hydrangeas, please bring them for your arrangement. Also bring scissors or clippers.

Preregistration is required by Wed. Oct. 23 as space is limited.

Sonny, who lives in Chatham, has been a floral designer and horticulturist for over 50 years. His floral arrangements have been featured in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts annual event “Art in Bloom.” He has also created his own local C3TV show “Sonny’s Floral Show” for the past 30 years. A teacher and lecturer, Sonny brings a unique approach to floral arranging, approaching it as an art, and using all of nature as his palette.
