PAINTING FOR THE FUN OF IT
Everyone will bring their own photos or still life from which to work. Karen will help with color, mixing, composition, contrast, and perspective. In this workshop, Karen will concentrate on a demo of mixing colors in order to get the correct hue and value for subject she paints.
Karen welcomes all levels of painters for this watercolor class. Karen will demo in watercolor but feel free to sign up if you paint with acrylic or water-soluable oils. She will talk about the principles of art, concentrating on composition, color, and values. Karen will cover a variety of subjects, including landscape, seascape, architecture and still life. Students may bring photographs and/or objects for still life. Instruction will be individualized. Lots of information and fun.
