About Us
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Shark Center in Chatham is an outreach facility dedicated to engaging the public in shark education. Through interactive exhibits, videos and displays, the shark center offers ways to learn about groundbreaking research on one of the ocean’s most magnificent and misunderstood species: the great white shark! Information and activities are catered to all people, including shark enthusiasts, families, and school and camp groups. Our community and education programs are based out of the Shark Center in Chatham which operates year-round. It is a great place to visit anytime- rainy days included! We strongly recommend making a reservation as walk-up admission is not guaranteed.

Increase knowledge of Atlantic white sharks and change public perception to conserve the species and ensure biologically diverse marine ecosystems.
Visit the Chatham Shark Center to learn about ongoing white shark research, take a photo in our shark cage, and experience diving with sharks with our virtual reality experience .
