About Us
Friends of Monomoy, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the continued protection and management of Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge and to the promotion of wildlife-oriented education as it relates to the Refuge.
Friends of Monomoy participate in a variety of activities that help to support the mission of the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge including:
*Staffing the Refuge Visitor Center daily April through October.
*Assisting Refuge staff with trail maintenance, garden upkeep, biologic surveys, restoration of a historic lighthouse, general clean-ups.
*Promoting Friends of Monomoy summer education series and other educational activities.
*Managing Friends of Monomoy retail store and other revenue-building activities.
*Supporting Friends of Monomoy legislative advocacy activities.
