Cape Cod Hospital Redesignated as Baby-Friendly Facility
(Hyannis, July 10, 2026) The Family Birthplace at Cape Cod Hospital is proud to announce that it
has achieved the highly prestigious international Baby-Friendly redesignation after a rigorous
review process conducted by Baby-Friendly USA, the organization responsible for bestowing this
certification in the United States. Cape Cod Hospital is one of more than 20,000 Baby-Friendly
hospitals and birth centers throughout the world.

Driving in Chatham
Vehicles must be parked within the white lines.
When approaching a rotary (traffic circle), traffic in the rotary has the right of way.
Right turn at red light is permitted, except where noted.
Highway speed limit is 55 mph.
Seat belt use is required in Massachusetts. Child restraints are required for children 4 and under.
Legal driving age is 16 years.
Pedestrians have right of way at crosswalks.
Recycling in Chatham
Chatham Recycles is a volunteer-driven educational program designed to encourage residents, visitors and businesses to reduce their trash output and increase their recycling efforts.
