Annual Meeting for the Atwood Museum

FREE EVENT AT THE ATWOOD MUSEUM

The Chatham Historical Society will be hosting its Annual Meeting on Thursday August 18. After a brief business meeting discussing the museum's 2022 year and the induction of new members into the Board of Trustees, there will be a keynote address by Executive Director of the New England Museum Association, Dan Yaeger. Yaeger's talk will be titled "Field Notes: How Museums are Faring in Challenging Times," and will take a candid look at the state of the museum field today, providing insight into how they are emerging from the pandemic, dealing with financial stress, addressing social issues, and navigating profound shifts in the field

The meeting will also highlight plans for the coming year at the Atwood Museum, home of the Chatham Historical Society.
