Ana Glig (Gligvashvili) is an award-winning, Georgian-American pianist praised for her “virtuosic command of works” and ability to “capture hearts”. Glig’s playing is recognized for her “lovely expressiveness, clarity in legato, balance and perfect logic.”
A recipient of the Alfred Cortot prize at the Tbilisi International Piano Competition for the best interpretation of romantic music, Glig has performed internationally in Europe and United States in solo and chamber settings. As an orchestra soloist, Glig debuted with Georgian and Israeli symphonic orchestras and most recently with Cape Symphony and Cape Cod Chamber Orchestras. In solo recital setting, Glig was a recent feature in Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert in Chicago, Illinois.
