For September’s Tuesday Talks lecture at the Atwood Museum, Tim Wood will tell us about his career writing, walking, and reporting his way through Chatham. As the current editor-in-chief of the Cape Cod Chronicle, Tim Wood has seen—and written about—it all! He holds awards for his reporting and has worked for multiple regional publications. Come listen to Tim talk about his time at the Chronicle, his Chatham-based book entitled “Breakthrough: The Story of Chatham's North Beach”, and the historic walks that he hosts around downtown Chatham.
The lecture begins at 5pm and is held in the Mural Barn at the Atwood Museum located at 347 Stage Harbor Road in Chatham. Tickets are FREE for members and $10 for non-members. Please register online at chathamhistoricalsociety.org to reserve your seat.
Bio:
Tim Wood is the editor of the Cape Cod Chronicle, a Chatham-based independent weekly newspaper covering the Lower Cape. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, he has written for many regional publication and won awards for his work at The Chronicle. He is also the author of “Breakthrough: The Story of Chatham's North Beach” and leads historic walks of downtown Chatham through his Chatham Walks company. He lives in Chatham with his wife and two sons.
