Chatham Railroad Museum

Welcome to the Chatham Railroad Museum!

We are located in the beautifully restored 1887 railroad depot that served Chatham residents and visitors for nearly fifty years.

We have many exhibits including a diorama of the yard layout in 1915 shows the depot with a turntable and the light industry in the area. Our “Chatham Railroad” exhibit has models of the South and West Chatham stations. 

The agent's office has hands on Morse code simulator, typewriter and rotary phones! 

We have a 1910 restored wood caboose which is open for exploration.
