The Contemporary Sonnet
What makes a sonnet a sonnet? In this workshop, examine the sonnet from its historical lens into its present, contemporary one. Unpack a variety of sonnets across time periods, with a primary focus on the way the sonnet operates today. Finally, generate drafts of your own sonnet. Registration 24 hours in advance is required.
