Sales Associate-Chatham
Job Description
Our retail sales associates work a flexible part-time schedule consistent with seasonal hours including some weekends and holidays. They are responsible for greeting Gustare guests while maintaining a clean, tidy retail environment and shelf replenishment. Sales associates assist guests with their selections and provide suggestions on how to use our O&V products. Your facilitation of a memorable guest experience consistent with our Gustare brand personality is critical to the retail sales success of Team Gustare.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Confirm your availability and schedule weekly consistent with seasonal hours/holidays
- Develop a comfortable guest greeting and tasting experience to enhance retail
- Assist with POS procedures including optional gift-wrapping; phone orders; on-line orders (when trained)
- Update customer rewards at POS and help to resolve any open issues or questions regarding Gustare guest experience (when trained)
- Develop creative skills to complete custom gift boxes and custom orders
- Experiment with Gustare selections and personal pairings to enhance guest experience
- Ensure timely replenishment on retail shelves by labeling bottles for filling
- Assist in opening/closing/cleaning procedures as required (when trained)
- Maintain open communications with store manager/owners and offer suggestions to improve retail sales floor efficiency/productivity
- Prepare for 30-day and annual reviews with store manager or owner
Position reports to: Chatham Store Manager or owner, Catherine
Compensation: Hourly wage (TBD) + OT over 40 hours/week
