Cape Cod Healthcare Announces Reopening
of Seasonal Urgent Care Center in Orleans
for the 2026 Summer Season
(Hyannis, MA – May 14, 2026): As Cape Cod prepares for its annual influx of summer visitors, the Cape Cod Healthcare Urgent Care Center in Orleans will be reopening for the summer season on Monday, May 18, 2026. The facility is located at 42 Route 6A at the Jean P. Buchanan Medical Building.
In addition to this seasonal location, Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC) Urgent Care centers provide convenient access across the region, with year-round facilities in Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Sandwich and Plymouth. The centers offer high-quality, full-service walk-in care for non-life-threatening conditions, including minor injuries, infections and common illnesses, and provide on-site X-ray and IV administration. Staffed by board-certified emergency room providers, all six centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
CCHC Urgent Care services are a cost-saving care option available to all patients, even if a patient’s primary care provider (PCP) and other specialists are affiliated with another healthcare system.
“Our urgent care centers deliver the kind of expert, efficient care patients need—right when they need it. Our teams are equipped to assess and treat a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries, and most patients are seen in under an hour,” said Dr. Michael Hall, Chief of Emergency Medicine at Cape Cod Hospital.
