Now entering its 9th year, Cape Reps Young Company (YoCo) provides free professional theater training to young actors grades 8 through 12 eager to learn the craft of acting through an intensive rehearsal and production process. All interested students are welcomed into this free annual program.

This Restless House: Agamemnon's Return is a contemporary reimagining of the classic Greek tragedy The Oresteia by Aeschylus, focusing on the aftermath of the Trojan Wa
r and its devastating toll on one family. Seen through lens of the story’s women, This Restless House explores themes of justice, betrayal, and the intergenerational trauma caused by war, revealing how the price of conflict is also paid by those left behind; it underscores the human cost of war, where the real victims are often those who never step foot on the battlefield.

The Young Company features a talented group of students from across the Cape supported by Cape Rep Company artists including Hanlon with associate director Ian Hamilton, Alison Weller (voice and speech coach), Art Devine (stage combat), Jazzy MacDonald (stage management), Holly Erin McCarthy (costume design) and Janine Perry (Producing Artistic Director).

Cape Cod Repertory Theatre Company, Inc. is a 501c3 organization, founded in 1986 as a company dedicated to creativity and professionalism. On seven acres of land in Nickerson State Park in Brewster, Massachusetts, Cape Rep Theatre is the steward of the beautiful land and historic buildings that are home to the companys three theaters.

Chatham, Cape Cod Town Resources

One of the older townships on Cape Cod, Chatham was settled in 1656 by William and Anne Busby Nickerson. Incorporated in 1712, the town’s census list now approximates 7,000 residents. Originally a farming community, its inhabitants found deep sea fishing more lucrative; and today, small boat deep sea fishing, as well as shell fishing continue as important maritime industries.

Covering an area of approximately seventeen square miles, Chatham is  a happy combination of past and present — old-fashioned and picturesque, yet affording the best in modern facilities.

Surrounded by water on three sides, Chatham benefits from Mother Nature’s “natural air conditioning” with cool summers, exquisite autumns, and mild winters. It is a comfortable place in which to live year-round, as a summer resident or visit on vacation. We are proud of our community and hope that you will enjoy your stay with us and return often.

Chatham operates under the town meeting form of government. The executive officers are a board of five part-time Selectmen and a Town Manager. The citizens of Chatham enjoy the special benefits of forward-looking zoning and planning, and of both public and private conservation efforts.
