Cape Cod’s Local Vegan Cafe & Juice Bar Expands to Serve More Cape Residents and Visitors

CHATHAM, Mass. — J. Bar, Cape Cod’s ultimate destination for healthy, plant-based food and drinks, is excited to announce the opening of its second location in Chatham, Massachusetts. Located within the charming Shops at 400 Main, they join a vibrant community of local dining and retail businesses, bringing its fresh, wholesome offerings to the East End of the Cape.

As a beloved favorite in Harwich Port for the past decade, J. Bar’s owner, Erin Tucker, has been serving up delicious smoothies, cold-pressed juices, salads, power bowls, avocado toasts, and more. Each order is made from the finest raw, organic, and unprocessed ingredients. While the Harwich Port location has been a seasonal establishment, the intention of the new Chatham location is to give loyal fans and new customers a chance to enjoy clean, vibrant eating approximately three-quarters of the year–welcoming guests during the spring, summer, and fall.

"We’re thrilled to be opening our second location in Chatham," says Tucker. "For the past ten years, we’ve been proud to offer healthy, plant-based foods that nourish the body and soul, and look forward to bringing that same energy and commitment to Chatham. We are so excited to be a part of such a wonderful community and to offer our customers even more options for fueling their healthy lifestyles."

Known for its commitment to clean, honest food—J. Bar is the ultimate place to “feed yourself healthy” with a menu full of fresh fruits, vegetables, and real, unprocessed ingredients. From vibrant smoothie bowls to nutrient-packed salads, energizing elixirs to decadent yet healthy treats, every item is hand-crafted to order using the finest ingredients. The cafe’s focus on wholesome nutrition and positive vibes ensures every bite and sip is designed to help customers feel their best. Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, or simply looking to enjoy healthy, nourishing food, J. Bar has something for everyone.

In their new location, J. Bar will continue to offer the same high-quality, fresh meals that have earned a loyal following in Harwich Port, while also introducing exciting new seasonal items like warming, comfort foods to complement the colder months.

A community grand opening event in Chatham is being planned for early spring. Follow J. Bar on Instagram and Facebook for the latest updates, promotions, and healthy eating inspiration. For more information about them, including the menu, visit the J. Bar website

Chatham, Cape Cod Town Resources

One of the older townships on Cape Cod, Chatham was settled in 1656 by William and Anne Busby Nickerson. Incorporated in 1712, the town’s census list now approximates 7,000 residents. Originally a farming community, its inhabitants found deep sea fishing more lucrative; and today, small boat deep sea fishing, as well as shell fishing continue as important maritime industries.

Covering an area of approximately seventeen square miles, Chatham is  a happy combination of past and present — old-fashioned and picturesque, yet affording the best in modern facilities.

Surrounded by water on three sides, Chatham benefits from Mother Nature’s “natural air conditioning” with cool summers, exquisite autumns, and mild winters. It is a comfortable place in which to live year-round, as a summer resident or visit on vacation. We are proud of our community and hope that you will enjoy your stay with us and return often.

Chatham operates under the town meeting form of government. The executive officers are a board of five part-time Selectmen and a Town Manager. The citizens of Chatham enjoy the special benefits of forward-looking zoning and planning, and of both public and private conservation efforts.
