Winter Storm: Operational Update
 
Hyannis, MA (February 24, 2026)As our region continues to recover from the winter storm, Cape Cod Healthcare is resuming operations on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, as follows:
Open and fully operational:
  • Cape Cod Hospital
  • Falmouth Hospital
  • Urgent Care Centers
  • McCarthy Care Center
  • JML Care Center
  • Heritage at Falmouth
  • All outpatient facilities and services, except select locations with a 10:00 a.m. delayed opening planned in anticipation of restored power. Please see www.capecodhealth.org/storm for a full list of delayed openings.
Falmouth Hospital Outpatient Surgical Center and Falmouth Hospital Pain Center remain closed.
We appreciate our community’s patience and understanding with this fluid process throughout the storm.

Driving in Chatham

Vehicles must be parked within the white lines.

When approaching a rotary (traffic circle), traffic in the rotary has the right of way.

Right turn at red light is permitted, except where noted.

Highway speed limit is 55 mph.

Seat belt use is required in Massachusetts. Child restraints are required for children 4 and under.

Legal driving age is 16 years.

Pedestrians have right of way at crosswalks.

Recycling in Chatham

Chatham Recycles is a volunteer-driven educational program designed to encourage residents, visitors and businesses to reduce their trash output and increase their recycling efforts. By recycling, Chathamites can limit the amount of trash going into incinerators and landfills, help conserve natural resources and contribute to Chatham's reputation as a forward-thinking and environmentally conscious community. Please visit their website!!
