Cape & Islands United Way to Host Charity Golf Tournament at Hyannisport Club
CIUW will welcome supporters to seaside course to raise critical funding for services

Hyannis, MA — Cape & Islands United Way (CIUW) will host its annual charity golf tournament, Golf United, on September 22, 2025, at the Hyannisport Club. The annual tournament welcomes supporters to play at the exclusive course in Hyannis while supporting CIUW’s community initiatives and programs. The day includes lunch, a 12:30 PM shotgun start, and a cocktail reception with food and an open bar. Sponsorships and golfer registration are available at https://www.capeandislandsuw.org/golf-sponsorship.

Entering its fifth year, Golf United is an annual opportunity for sponsors and participants to showcase their organizations while supporting the work of CIUW. Hosted at the Hyannisport Club, this event also offers participants access to the exclusive club, otherwise closed to non-club members. An Alex Findlay golf course that was redesigned by Donald Ross in 1936, the Hyannisport Club course weaves around the tidal marshes of Nantucket Sound, with water visible from every hole.

“Golf United is a chance to give back in a meaningful way while enjoying an unforgettable day with colleagues, friends, and community partners,” said Mark Skala, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Cape and Islands United Way. “It’s also an opportunity to position your business as a community leader—one that invests in the people and places that make the Cape and Islands special.”

Proceeds from the event support the Cape and Islands United Way’s mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community, from early childhood education to financial stability, food security, and mental health services.

Sponsorships are available, starting at $500. For more information, contact Evelyn Nelson at enelson@uwcapecod.org.
