Join the Gills Club at the Shark Center Chatham at 9am on Saturday February 11th to learn about Gills Club scientist Dr. Michelle Passerotti! Through hands-on activities, youth will learn about Michelle's work with understanding growth and aging of sharks.
The Gills Club is the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy's STEM-based education initiative dedicated to connecting girls with female scientists from around the world, sharing knowledge, and inspiring the next generation of shark and ocean advocates.
This event is targeted for youth in 2nd-5th grade and requires all youth to have a guardian attend with them.
This is not a drop-off program. Parents/Guardians are required to stay with youth for the 90 minute program.
This educational event is free, but due to capacity limits, does require registration. Please register each child individually, even if they're part of the same family/group.
