Bread or Pastry Baker

Liberty Artisanal Bakery is a small community bakery located in Chatham on route 28. We specialize in hand-crafted European style sourdough breads and seasonally-inspired breakfast pastries. Our bakery is seeking to recruit a talented and passionate bread baker and/or pastry baker starting in June/July. Full-time or part-time positions will be considered based on experience. Must have experience with sourdough production and/or croissant dough lamination. We use regionally sourced whole grain organic flours and long-rise fermentations for our highly sought after sourdough breads. The bakery is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including a four deck Bassanina oven, a rotating convection oven, a large spiral mixer, and reversible dough sheeter. The baking position offers ample opportunities to contribute to the success of the bakery and grow professionally and creatively as a baker.
