The Chatham Marconi Maritime Center on Cape Cod was founded in 2002 as a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history of Chatham Radio/WCC, “The World’s Greatest” ship-to-shore communication station. Originally commissioned by radio pioneer Guglielmo Marconi, the Chatham station provided maritime communication services from 1921 until 1997. Museum Summer Intern
The Marconi-RCA Wireless Museum has an opening for a Summer Intern for June through August. A 5-day-per-week position, Summer Museum Intern duties include:· Opening the Museum at 9:30 a.m. and closing by 4:30 p.m. · Greeting visitors with an introduction to the museum· Operating the Square cash register for admissions and merchandise sales· Ensuring the museum is clean and merchandise well stocked· Assisting museum docents as neededThe museum offers a competitive wage and merchandise discounts.
